Teens talk about Pebbles of Peace

2006-2007

Pebbles of Peace showed me a different perspective of things.  This is my second time and I really enjoyed it. I learned that you could learn new things from different people. The first time I went to Pebbles of Peace I was kind of nervous of talking with others.  Now it is different because I made new friends and I saw the people I talked with last time.

Pebbles of Peace was a great place to learn and put your leadership skills in action. It was my first time to go and I really enjoyed it. I would recommend this to anyone whp wants to change the community and wants to make a difference in the lives of others.

So far working with the Pebbles for Peace groups and attending the forums have been a good experience.  It has made me realize that people DO care, and people ARE working very hard on making our community a better place.  Knowing that people are trying to make a difference, makes want to work harder and get out to the community in different ways.  Gracias.

Pebbles of Peace is a great event that has helped me a lot.  I had to show my leadership skills and that will help me a lot in the future.  I encourage people to come to these type of workshops because I know that it’s going to help them a lot in the near future. Keep up the good work!!

For me Pebbles has been a great experience because I am making my community better so there are fewer people joining bad things instead of good things.  Also it has been fun to meet with some friends that I haven’t seen in a long time. Thanks!!
