Pebbles 2008 Rap: It Affects Me

Violence! It’s everywhere!

I can’t escape it!

It has too many masks, I can’t face it!

We are the victims and the offenders are ruthless,

The efforts to correct it are extremely fruitless.

It deteriorates motivation,

Eradicates inspiration,

Hope has no ventilation,

With violence in this nation.

It is an artist, sculpting damaging mentors.

Violent men tours.

The Mil

Intentions to rob, rape and kill

Not trying to instill in youth a place to turn

When the road to family is a dead end,

We are alone,

Hope is gone.

Violence has become America’s home.

So you ask me if violence affects my generation?

Weill, it affects me and my future seeds!

It will affect you, even if you don’t want it to!

And until you c an realize

That these real eyes can see

Things that America has been blind to for centuries

Violence will continue to eliminate hope and a future for youth

We’ve loved lies for too long, now come and accept this truth.
