The Archdiocese of Milwaukee collaborated with Tomorrow’s Present and St. Anthony on the Lake Parish (Pewaukee, WI) to produce this new resource about three models for involving parents in Christian formation programming.
"Lil Johnnie" was invented by Lawton Merritt, and further developed into a literacy curriculum with Dr. Bob Pavlik from Marquette University and Dr. Lisa Calderone to help students:
- Reflect more deeply
- Build their sense of hope
- Improve their reading, writing and expression skills
Dr. Calderone has produced leadership manuals and videotapes with the assistance of grants from the Eli Lilly Fund for Theological Education and from the Valparaiso Project on the Education and Formation of People in Faith.
These include videos and print binders for adults to use while developing their own youth leadership programming.
