Post Office honors Dr. Calderone-Stewart as Humanitarian
On March 19, 2010, Dr. Lisa-Marie Calderone-Stewart was honored along with 14 other women by the US Post Office as “Women Putting their Stamp on Metro Milwaukee.” Her category was “humanitarianism.”
Cardinal Stritch gives Dr. Calderone-Stewart their Vocare Award
Vocare is Latin for “to call.” The Center for Calling and Engagement (formerly called the Office for Vocations) presented their 2010 Vocare Award to Dr. Lisa Calderone-Stewart. "The Vocare award proudly recognizes an individual who has lived purposefully and with integrity to the calling that God has placed on their life… we believe that we let our lives speak by who we are and what we do with our gifts and talents.”
Casa Romero gave the Rutilio Grande award to Dr. Calderone-Stewart for her life’s work in support of youth and families and as a catalyst for change in the greater Milwaukee area.
Tomorrow’s Present receives the Eleanor Backus Peace Award
The Religious Society of Friends gave the Eleanor Backus Peace Award to Tomorrow’s Present and Dr. Lisa for their leadership shown in fostering peace activities.
